CSI: IL Storyline
This infographic tells the story of a young CSI named Chris who experiences difficulties in his new job at a small-town police station in the state of Illinois. Chris notices a similarity between the string of murders he's investigating and his mother's murder, causing him to lose focus. Questioning his abilities as a CSI, he runs into an old retired police officer at a local bar who agrees to help him with the investigation. With the old officer's help, Chris finds that all of the murders seem to be related to each other. Pieces of the puzzle finally fit together, and the friendship between Chris and the old officer is going well until Chris finds evidence that the old officer might be responsible for the murders. After his suspicions are confirmed, things get incredibly messy when it's found out that the old officer is responsible for Chris' mother's murder as well. After a long and tiring chase, Chris catches and arrests the old officer and finally gets the answers to his mother's murder that he'd been looking for. The young CSI is granted a small break to come to terms with all that had happened. But upon his return, he is praised endlessly by his superiors and coworkers. He is acknowledged and significantly rewarded for his achievements. This is a story I made up using the classic Hero's Journey plot.
